Trials carried out at Lewisham Hospital were very successful. The nursing staff found the Worksafe Air-Hood comfortable and easy to communicate. They felt that the added protection offered by the Worksafe Air-Hood to be greatly superior to most types of conventional PPE. The added benefit of the secondary apron could be worn either inside or outside other protective clothing.

	Trials included a number of medical procedures including, intubation, microscopy and patient handling.
